Parent Meetings & Review

Regular, ongoing parent meetings and periodic review provide consistency and support to students and their families.

Treatment:

Parents of children enrolled in Missing Links’ IBI/ABA treatment programming have an opportunity to meet with us every four-to-six weeks. We discuss the child’s progress in relation to stated goals, changes that may be occurring at home, at school or in other settings, and make suggestions for maximizing consistency and collaboration across all environments. We also provide strategies for behaviour or other challenges that may arise.

Education:

Parents of students enrolled in the Missing Links Academy have the opportunity to meet with us during reporting periods, two or three times per year. They receive feedback regarding the student’s report card and we discuss strategies for maximizing their child’s academic achievement. Sometimes students are invited to participate, and make presentations highlighting selections from their school work or presenting a portfolio they’ve developed.
